No issues for me either.

It is a website limitation. If the desktop client had an easy way to specify folders you'd like synced then obviously it wouldn't be an issue, but I couldn't find a way to do that.

I had my hopes raised tremendously by Amazon Drive, as being able to store stuff in the cloud and remove the original would save me terabytes of space. Which I would only consider because files can be played within the drive interface. But uploads are super slow, files larger than 2GB must be synced and can't be played online. Such a shame.

Use this to upload https://github.com/yadayada/acd_cli You need python installed

Good to know they suck even more.

It gets better. All their capped prices on their website are shaped capped accounts. The unshaped prices are much higher, and relatively hidden away:

When I logged into my AH backup account when the internet dropped in kzn, i realised I hadn't saved my login details, so at 22:30 went onto livechat and was able to reset password in a jiffy, received an sms instantly. Good service!

While I was there, I enquired about the portal and was advised to use new password along with registered email, I click login and nothing happens. I tried with chrome and safari.

I have the same issue with the portal. No news forthcoming.

The unshaped accounts are based on their old prices.

50 GB for R 99, 100GB for R 199. Just take the shape caps and cut by half. That's unshaped capped prices

Did you take advantage of the R1 deal?
Yeh but how does the free time work though. I did an enquiry with online chat dudes, and basically it falls away, in new month for the 150GB option, but if you signed up before, you keep it at 150GB. So im guessing you had to be lucky to sign up early?

Yeah, I'm lucky, signed 150gb capped in jan, so I still have open-time and premium news server.

Lucky.. i suppose its similar to Vox. Guys who signed up early, got locked into some very good prices. So good that Crystal Web has followed a sort of early opt in option. Restricts more people from taking the cheaper packages, but if they want free time, they sign up for a 250GB or higher package. Makes sense

If I'm not mistaken , Crystalweb home capped and Web Africa home capped is shaped capped accounts too

You maybe right, but I've yet to see shaping on CW.
This was true for the first year...maybe?...when CW started.

They've long ago [March 2016 I think] taken over their own provisioning from bandwidth suppliers. As such their profiles are unique on all products to them alone.

Still classed as shaped to cover their arse when there are network issues which I understand.
