Do you own or use a printer?

Use one at the office for the rare occasions that I need to print anything. Would not buy one myself.

Have one, on its last legs because the cartridges are finished. Used once a month. Still needed to print docs that need to be handed in at Govt. Offices mainly.
New cartridges cost more than a new printer. A real grudge purchase, but will probably have to replace it soon.

Use the scanner quite a bit, probably 4 - 5 times a week.

Just bought a laser multi-function unit for the home, got over having to print and scan at work

Yes. Had an all-in-one. I thought it was irrelevant until it broke.

My wife runs a home office and a small business from home. We use our printer a lot.

I just find it so much easier to use a scanner app on my phone

two printers at home - one a A3 that hardly ever gets used and All in one that gets used a lot for school projects, etc

work had departmental printing, used seldom

Still has a place, but more for reviewing / making notes or when needing to be handed in / etc.

No. I refuse to own, use or touch one.

But I bet you get lots of paper from others'? Unfortunately, we are many years away from a completely paperless society.

At the moment, you can't do much without having to generate or get others to generate paper on your behalf.

Don't own one and avoid paper at all costs. If I absolutely have to (Contracts, VISA applications...) I use the office printer.

I've also scanned all my documents and ditched hard copies...

Printers

We own one, mainly for the Wife's home-office work. I occasionally use it to scan or print things mainly in B/W.

At work I hardly print unless there is no other option. I sign/edit documents electronically whenever possible.

Same this side. Stopped printing in 2012, Epson LX 300++ (like new) lying in the cupboard since.

Trees: très trees

I have a hard working Samsung M2070 that makes photocopies every day and prints every week. Samsung scanner/printers seem to last around 5 cartridge replacements.
If the post office would deliver my prints to me every day, I would think about printing on-line. But that's not happening. Gotta have a printer!
