Fibre in South Crest!

The guy from metro fibre just came to my complex today in elands rock nature estate to and installed the router and told me we should be live in the next 24 hours. So looks good for us here in south crest

Yes I think were really close too.

They trenched into my property on Monday, they did neat work and currently I have a wire coming into my house without any ONT or anything atm.

They will install an ONT once you apply with your desired ISP

currently with metrofibre for couple months before i can change to another isp so will sign up with home connect or firestream but still doing research for better isp

SO far so good, sad part is that i need stay with metrofibre as a isp for about 3-6 months if i heard correctly before i can change to different isp. So for now i signed up with 5mbps just to test things and see how stable it is. Slower than my current Lte but it will do for now before i change to coolideas or home connect.
 
My termination point was installed yesterday after I cancelled my Vodacom pre-order and went with Initio360. According to the guy I spoke to Metrofibre will only be live at the end of the month. (Hopefully)

I can't wait for my 100/100 connection

Thats good news..glad i am up and running also its been so awesome have fibre

I stay at elands rock nature estate, its on cnr of paul kruger and irving steyn.
