Home-Connect ISP Feedback

I'm considering moving to HC but I would like to check peering to specific sites and international speeds first. If someone on HC could do some tests for me, I'd appreciate it. Please DM me and I'll send you a list of sites I need tested.
 
Was it one of their employees that mentioned Cool Ideas? Or Vuma?
They are Cipherwave so definitely not related.

Cool Ideas was mentioned by an arb on a whats app group. A misunderstanding of what was requested so no real understanding.

Yup, it was handed to Vumatel who made repairs quite quickly. Speeds were a problem for about 6 hours after the fix, but seems to have stabilised in the 20/20 range.
 
Real debrid slow today. Downloads to their servers running around 130KB/s.speed tests to Coreix and QTS are decent.
RD downloads running linespeed for me on AH. Are you doing single thread speedtests?

Had full line speed all day yesterday using RD on HC.

Quick question for HomeConnect users, how long between installation and web surfing joy?

Thanks. Did you have your router couriered to you? I am due for the trenching of the line from the pavement to my house next Friday and am trying to work out how long from then I will be live.

Yes. The router was couriered to me. Took a day. Never used the router though. I just used the PPPOE username and password that was sent to me on email and put that on my existing router.
 
word of warning, if you cancel, they will send you an email 3 months after the fact asking for a date and time to collect their router, you will give them that info then nobody comes on said date and time, that was 4 weeks ago, router still sitting in it's box on the shelf waiting and have received no new emails.
