Home-Connect ISP Feedback

I have been trying to cancel my existing line with them since Saturday. The portal will not let me cancel it and the customer care agent said to me they will have to speak to their developer in order to get it cancelled. I spoke to them again yesterday afternoon after trying to get someone to get back to me all day and it turns out their developer works from India.........
Make of that what you will.

As of right now my line is still not cancelled......my months notice I intend to be the month of July and start with Afrihost in August....hopefully.

I spoke to them about a similar query:
If you want to you can cancel immediately once you do the payment for the extra months notice etc, and afrihost will refund you for that within R5k!
 
Have been with them since 2018. Recently speeds have been terrible. Support is non existent.
Struggling to cancel with them. Notice for cancellation was put in June already.
Have you followed up with them? They should have placed your line in the holding pool on the 1st of August.
 
Do they block the ports?i am with frogfoot and i am unable to run a ftp server
Most ISPs have changed over to CGNAT. You would have to specifically request port forwarding from HC if you are referring to accessing your server externally. They do offer it from what i remember when you purchase a static IP addon

I'm with Home-Connect and getting the message "Sorry, this content is not available in your region (based on your IP address). Please get in touch with your ISP or our Customer Care to resolve." for the Sport channels. First time it has happened, nothing changed on our side, other DSTV content plays fine. Anybody know what could be wrong?
