Minimum 10%, typically I round up on the bill to make it a round number which means I often tip more than 10%. If I get very bad service I still tip the 10% but will have a word with management because I feel that it is their issue to sort out.

How much do you usually tip your waiter in a restaurant? What determines your tip amount?
Can the next question be,"how much do you tip per week/month"?

This includes car guards etc

I feel like we tip for everything now. It will be cool to see it added up.

I normally round up to the nearest R10...

I once added like R9.20, so the bill came out to R 250

The chop of a waiter decided to make my tip R10....

I hate it when some restaurant adds the tip or they call it "service charge"....

Once in India they added it, my dad simply removed it and said, no, we are not paying this.. your items are priced on the menu, we are paying that.

I try to give 5 - 8%... at most 10%

Had a surly waiter at Cattle Baron Tokai
The table was 8 people
He muddled up the order, brought food that was not ordered and one couple waited 45 mins for their food
Several people ordered a sweet course. After 45 mins I got up and went to see the manager. He pretended to go and sort it out. We waited a further 30 mins and I went to the cashier and paid
I have been to many other CBs and they are really good

Usually around 10% but never more than R40. I usually try to tip around R20 by default if 10% would be less than ideal and try to pay an even amount.

I probably spend about R50 a month on car guards and petrol attendants, so not too bad.
I don't tip "non-official" car guards though

Normally a blanket 10% unless I am a little tipsy then my maths don't work so well.
