Just to keep you informed with regards to the news server queries, our engineers are still looking into it as we speak. Thank you for the feedback so far, its really appreciated as the information is passed on to our engineers.

thinking of getting 4mb from mweb, but want to know that the news server is working and will be able to get my line speed from it

Are you guys pausing on ad.za.doubleclick.net?

I find a page pauses on this for a few seconds and then continues just fine, just as you have described.

I have the same problem, except I pause for up to 5 minutes

Well, all of a sudden the server is working fine. A whole weekend with out news server.

my speeds have also increased, will monitor though and give feedback in a few days. My mate on his 4 meg line still has bad speed though.

Connection freezing every 10 or so minutes, since about 8pm. Other accounts are chilling, just Mweb.

Also, the buds I have with Mweb in CT are experiencing no problems

I am not aware of any issues at the moment that would cause such disconnects.

Mweb Guy - seems to be across all networks and affecting quite a large swathe of people, judging by dropped connections ingame and on TS, etc. Probably Telskum again.
