Can't we get a pic of the head that wasn't taken with a shaky potato?![]()
Sauron! Still got the Buell, or is that long gone?
I'm in Jozi, do the Fourways to Midrand trek in the morning, so a bike is key for me![]()
Decent collection of bikes bud, good job. How's the R1200RS treating you? I love that thing, gives me the goosies.
So I'm hoping to upgrade this year (mainly depending on finances in the next few months) and think a used Honda NC700X or NC750X would be the best fits for my needs. I'm mainly use my bike for commuting to work but would like to take the odd road trip this year.
Have a few questions though if anyone in the know would be so kind:
1. What's a reasonable mileage to look out for?
2. What sort of price range should I be budgeting for (taking mileage question into account)?
3. Any reason to opt for the 750 instead of the 700 if I'm mainly using the bike for commuting and not really into speed/performance?
4. Best place to start hunting for a bike?
Would appreciate any and all feedback.
A bit more torque and power, offset by longer gearing. From what I remember during my investigations is that the 2016 model (750XD) has some upgrade parts... apparently better breaking system and suspension, clocks and functionality there have been upgraded, 3 different Sport modes as opposed to one, Looks a lot better IMO... but I'm not sure what advantages the upgraded engine size brings to the party (power wise)
The learners are the same as for cars, bar a couple of questions. The standard book should cover both cars and bikesIs the learners test difficult? Any recommendations on the best k53 book to get?
