No Data connection but full signal

I had no 3G signal on my iPhone. A quick Fix For me is to set carrier to Auto, or set carrier to. Cellc.

Seems like different towers need different settings

ON CALLING FOR FEEDBACK TODAY MY FAULT HAD BEEN "COMPLETED".

WHAT TYPE OF MONKEY SHOW ARE YOU RUNNING???

And to think I was thinking of moving to CellC and now all these problems with data. A friend of mine also staying in my town has CellC and he also has full signal but no data connection. He is now moving to 8ta

WEEK 6.
And still no resolution.
Cell C, you have really left me dumbstruck.
 
My issues in Midrand seem to have resolved. Went through a slow patch for a couple of weeks but my speedtests are showing 4-5mbps during the busy times of the day again.

Damn you are lucky. Last night at 6:30 my Cell C connection was dead. I tried to revive it but to no avail. I tried to turn it into a zombie but it would only stare at me. My dog wanted to bury the sim card in the garden.
 
The SpeedTest app can't even find the closest server this morning (Sandton CBD).
I'm afraid the only way this will be resolved, is when Cell C once again has no subscribers as it was a year or so ago (which will be soon if they keep up this rubbish), their network will clear up, and the handful remaining will have solid throughput.

I still have no action, no response on my dm.... Just give my money back and take your sim! This is like theft, you take my money and don't deliver the promised goods.

Imagine when its the 1st of April & this problem still persists. Wow, that really would be a good April Fools joke. We can all roll our eyes in disbelief.
 
Same here... Can we all get a online petition and have mybb do a follow up article on how many of us affected?
 
My Cell C is totally dead at the moment, this with full 3G (five bars).

Happens every day during business hours, then I have to switch to Vodacom.
 
Whereabouts are these Cell C issues? I ported to Cell C almost a month ago and it's been awesome here in PE. Everything works fine, it's much cheaper and I get faster data speeds than I did on MTN.

I've been wondering about this issue. Glad I finally found out that despite claims, they seem to be doing absolutely nothing about it. No matter where you are, it seems to be an issue. Everyone I know that is on Cell C has the same issue as well. Seriously considering moving over to another network and I don't care if it's more expensive.

No wonder they scored "below par" in the South African Customer Satisfaction Index
 
Since Mid January poor pathetic service. have been with CellC on prepaid for over 3 years now. This issue occurred in US when the iPhone was released. The data hungry hogging phones caused so much stress on the cell networks there they had to go into over drive to upgrade their networks. CellC has the same issues. Data is dirt cheap. People have flooded CellC network. i use 2GB every month on my Note. Am always online never switch off my 3G. There are thousands out there like me who do the same. I am seriously thinking of switching over to VC or MTN. More expensive as i will pay close to R300 for 2GB instead of R155 at CellC but hey at least i will get internet at that price.
