It was my router. 1000+ ms ping from my PC to router.![]()
Yup. Just resetting the router didn't help either. Needed to reset the wireless settings. How'd that happen?
Wireless?

You guys that are managing to stream twitch.tv on source, are you doing it via the website or with livestreamer? I can't manage to stream source on the website without frequent buffering![]()
I do it with both. But mainly the website.
What connection speed do you have and at what quality are you trying to stream?
10Mb line on Source. Didn't work when I had a 20Mb line either. High is fine, but Source is a no go on the website.

I just got my usage email on the 100GB capped account and it shows 0 usage, not to sure how to track usage now?
Or is it being treated as uncapped?
Hi Mick

... nightly reports still reflect crystalpremium.co.za
No, maybe when the new capped accounts are released and implemented at end March but I'm only guessing.Any idea if and when this will be switched?
That line represents a "LINK" - ie, the link between my router and the next hop - the ESR.
So there's 12% loss on the ATM network it seems...
Once again, there were DNS issues over the weekend, particularly late at night/early in the morning (11pm - 2am Saturday into Sunday).
Unfortunately it's intermittent and by the time the diagnostics are fired up, the issue has passed.
This is an issue, guys, you need to get it nailed down and fixed. As we've discussed it seems to be an IS issue.
Could Crystal Web possibly help me with a Telkom related problem? I posted my problem on the forums but will paste it here as well. I am completely unable to reach telkom at all. Have spent several hours now trying to get hold of them. Someone suggested a port reset but since I can't get hold of telkom...
Anyway, here is my problem:
Two weeks ago my Billion 400g modem stopped working...what would happen is that it would sync with the exchange at full line speed, but it would no longer connect to any isp no matter what I tried. I reset it, I flashed the firmware - same thing. So I got a new one (tp-link). The new one has been working fine, until yesterday when it started exhibiting the exact same problem. So I took my old Mega router, plugged it in and everything works with it.
Here is when things get weird...I took the two routers that I thought were somehow damaged and connected them to a different adsl line at my parents place. Low and behold both modems works fine without any problems.
Brought them back to my place...same problem - they sync but refuse to connect with an isp. What on earth could it be?
I even plugged it in my ups to make sure it's not a power problem. I disconnected all the phones, filters etc. to see if that was a problem. It just won't connect here.
Let me see if I can do anything for you here, Rohan. I'll PM you if I need any additional data.
EDIT: going to reset the port for you now. If that fails, will pull some additional info, but looks like it's port related from what we can tell.
EDIT 2: while we haven't pinpointed the authentication problem here, we have picked up another fault on the line that should be reported. Will have one of our agents send you an email about this. It may be related - you never know.
Good news EDIT: we've identified the problem at the exchange. It has been reported to the guys directly to fix up for you. Should hopefully be resolved in the next 24 hours. Will chase up for you.![]()
