Hi guys. I did post about this earlier...
Hey man! Sorry I didn't see that post either lol!
Hi guys. I did post about this earlier...
Can you send support these traffic logs please? This is on 4Mbps uncapped? Also this isn't sustained 50KB/s right? Just drops temporarily then speeds up again? My NNTP downloads are up to their old slowness - peaking at 200KB/s and drop as low as 50KB/s on the IS news server between 12am and 6am.
I did report it to support so we'll see what happens. WA capped backup account is running full line speed (4Mbps line).
Got to the bottom of this one. Going to push an update this coming week to fix for you.

Its Monday, lets see what happens.
Telkom
@TelkomZA
Hi. We see that you are a wholesale customer. You would need to speak with your ISP regarding speed migration. ^TL
There is no speed migration. I was downgraded by ASSIA without any headsup having no issues with my line![]()
Hey man! Sorry I didn't see that post either lol!
ASSIA is the automated system implemented by Tekom at the exchanges. It's the system that drops sync if it identifies issues on the line. ISPs integrate into Telkom's wholesale systems instead. I will look into this one for you today to see if we can get this sync back up to where it should be.
@Crystal Web, did you get my PM from yesterday?
Hope it doesn't read negatively, was anything but that.![]()
Okay. Lets see what happens.
Thanks.
Not sure why you are asking every ISP for info about ASSIA? as Crystal Web explained, ISP's do not have control over this at all as it is an automated process.
pm? Remind me what those are again?

Do I get a discount on line rental, as I am bundled with you guys? Wanting to upgrade my 4 Mbps to 10, but I think I was quoted Telkom's price for the ADSL...
