Just as a check - capped accounts should perform 100% at all times on anything but peer-to-peer? What about game updates? Cant stand buffering on youtube anymore at night, need to make the switch to somewhere

Http comes down at full line speed for me.
 
I know we did follow this up for you with them late last week to get syncing back to the full speed again. Will continue to do so..

Good news... I just saw I'm back on 20mbs. Thanks for all the effort, lets see how it goes this time :)

No problem - our DSL lines manager followed this one up every day to resolve.

One question - where can we check our account status?

I've made payment for my account which starts on the 1st on Monday, so where can I do a sanity check to make sure its been properly received and all that?

You can always chat with one of our agents until the new portals deploy later this month.

Don't want any surprises or hick ups when it has to switch over at midnight on Tuesday.

Can't foresee there being any troubles, but if there ever are any, our live support will be available on Tuesday/Wednesday to assist.
 
Hi guys - was impressed with the test capped account, and have signed up for April.

Question: the test account was @crystalpremium.co.za but the new account will be @crystalwebdsl.co.za.

Is there a reason for the difference and are the accounts the same in terms of service levels ?

1) the realms differ for administrative and management purposes
2) the capped accounts perform as per their product descriptions (more to be released soon).

Our test accounts are designed to provide you with evaluation of general routing, latencies, and streaming performance. Download performance will always vary depending on network load and product descriptions.

Account connectivity just went down. Adsl syncs, but account doesn't authenticate. Happens on multiple isp accounts though. Telkom back to their upgrades I guess..

or yours truly... load shedding. Funny Telkom send me a SMS just as it struck.
 
I will never get used to bad service delivery, nor should I have to

Kinda reads a little wrong if new customers read the last post here. So just gonna remove it as the last post quickly with this one. :D
