Is this on capped or uncapped? Capped customers were informed last week that a new portal became available to track usage and manage your account. Uncapped will be released next, but in the interim usage notifications go out each day for these accounts with updated information.

It is uncapped however I would like to know how much I am using per month as it might be better for me to move to your capped product

Your usage notification email will include all data consumed month to date. If not, please talk to support and they can determine what the issue may be.

No it wasn't exchange related since i could access other ISP accounts.

What happened is that i would reset my router and it would access the CW account and it would have internet access for about 1 minute. Then the net would die, it would still show that the account was connected in the router stats.

I could make the internet stay on if i ran something that had a continuous through put of data such as a download, but as soon as that ended it would die. Resetting the router would do the same thing all over again.

At around 00.30am i tried reconnecting and it stayed on.

Can't see this replicated in the logs here on my end. Everything looks good this side now - are you still seeing the same issue now?

when using other ISP accounts was there any dropped connection problem?

It is a little odd and might be a mis-configuration with your router on using multiple PPOE sessions

What it isn't, is the Internet telling you to download the Internet.

Just got a 1GB test account and am very impressed so far.

For those interested: All my tests show excellent speeds to UK thinkbroadband speedtest (12.5Mbps and <200ms latency), full linespeed (20Mbps VDSL) using local speedtest from PE to CT (SAIX), NNTP at line speed, OSS streams working well on Kodi and web, Netflix in HD.

Will run that batch of tests again this evening.

@CW is the capped test account exactly the same as the other capped accounts ?

Also - what payment methods are available and are capped accounts able to be cancelled before the 19th of each month if needed ?

Thanks.

We sent an email out last week regarding the new temp portal and that we've had to implement the portal on the new profile packages. Can you confirm if you received this? Summer Special customers had their usage reset entirely mid-month, and we've added free midnight gigs as well to account for any perceived loss of value from the changes to the new profiles for 100GB customers. :)

Hi no email received, the usage was reset last month haven't seen anything this month.

I see that your capped account is scheduled for cancellation. To avoid sending operational related mails to cancelled customers, our system now blocks sending to any accounts flagged for cancellation, which is why an email wasn't sent to you.

As I said, as of 00.30am this morning everything seems fine now. Thanks.

No, the other account did not drop the connection. Hence why I was using them.
You know this whole "download the internet" thing is getting old.
I've been told what my limits are, I'm sticking well below them. So stop insinuating I'm not.

Yes the account has been cancelled for the end of the month, so I just have to accept the change to 90gb anytime data from 100gb for this month.

apologies for any offence caused, it was a joke in the vain of of the simplest solution to a problem of a connection staying open only when in use is to keep the connection open
it isn't possible to "download the Internet" and I am pretty well on record on the subject
