The CW Premium servers are supposed to be 2000+ days. I'm not sure about the IS servers. I think someone said 180 days.

I find that even with 2000+ days a a lot of stuff under over 100 days doesn't work.

I just source form torrents what I couldn't get on nzb after having tried a manual fixup.

I think my experience is mostly okay. I do find the occasional new files that are either corrupted, password protected or a few blocks short.

Last night everything failed, but I'm getting a username / password error.

Yea CW NS is borked right now. Missing blocks in releases in 2015, while astraweb is fine

My bill last month from CW, R395. Just got the new one, R595, nope not gonna happen
I cancelled my 100GB @ R180 last month when the new pricier packages were announced. Still got two invoices today, one in error for R180 followed by one for the new package at R295.

Emailed Karen at billing with proof of cancellation and trust she will sort it out.

That 72 hours we going to get response from telkom is long past. I trust we are going to sort this out. Soon.

I know we did follow this up for you with them late last week to get syncing back to the full speed again. Will continue to do so.

Any invoicing issues will be sorted by Karen without a hassle. We had a meeting this morning and identified an issue with some invoices incorrectly sent. Shouldn't happen again.

Are you trying to move everybody to the IS server / fade out the Premium server?

Not at all. But the IS server is locally hosted and we see better performance in light of this for most downloads, hence why it's best to keep this as primary and rely on the premium news server as a backup server for articles out of the IS retention.

Support told me to try the IS server. Did not even try to look at the problem?

There was a known issue with the premium server. Some odd errors were being thrown up. Our support guys are not really experts on the intricate nature of the news server so they were instructed to ask guys to change to IS as primary instead. Should be sorted now.

Hi Ianf1,

You can monitor your account using your ADSL username and password to login to capped.crystalweb.co.za where you can setup how the notifications work for the account. The account will be hard capped if the cap is reached.

Makes life easier, I see I am on 90GB anytime capped. What happened to the 100GB summer promotion that I signed up for?

We sent an email out last week regarding the new temp portal and that we've had to implement the portal on the new profile packages. Can you confirm if you received this? Summer Special customers had their usage reset entirely mid-month, and we've added free midnight gigs as well to account for any perceived loss of value from the changes to the new profiles for 100GB customers. :)

No it wasn't exchange related since i could access other ISP accounts.

What happened is that i would reset my router and it would access the CW account and it would have internet access for about 1 minute. Then the net would die, it would still show that the account was connected in the router stats.

I could make the internet stay on if i ran something that had a continuous through put of data such as a download, but as soon as that ended it would die. Resetting the router would do the same thing all over again.

At around 00.30am i tried reconnecting and it stayed on.

Do you know what irrates me more than anything else is that I never know how much data I have used during the month - I log into the portal & just get a blank page?????? I get usage stats every morning that never gives me how much I have used during the month & how musch I have left?? I am very frustrated with this side of things!!!!!

Is this on capped or uncapped? Capped customers were informed last week that a new portal became available to track usage and manage your account. Uncapped will be released next, but in the interim usage notifications go out each day for these accounts with updated information.
