National network update:

Over the next week (until next week Friday), it is possible that your exchange may go down for up to 7 hours for maintenance and upgrades of the Telkom network. This is happening nationwide and there's no clear indication yet of which exchanges will go down at which times. During this time you may lose DSL sync entirely, but rest assured this is in all likelihood not a fault, but a symptom of the nationwide Telkom network upgrades being performed, and your connection will be restored in a few hours, in a hopefully better state than ever.

Thanks for this. Seriously considering moving across to your service. I am bashing my head trying to get any sense from my current ISP on what's going on. It seems like they are in denial. Logged a call and was advised to "get my modem checked at a computer store" LOL
 
Internet connection seems fine. The CW NS does't however. Have day downloads as early as 40 days failing. Errors along the line of it being out of retention. :(

Downloading some pretty old articles right now on it, seems fine.

Also having problems.
I am suddenly getting username/password connection errors.

@CW :
What is going on with the Premium server?
Are you trying to move everybody to the IS server / fade out the Premium server?

Support told me to try the IS server. Did not even try to look at the problem?

Support told me to try the IS server. Did not even try to look at the problem?

Sad part is that the IS server retention is only about 180 days.

My line-sync has been down for 2 days. Yesterday it synced for a few minutes and went dead again until now - been up for about 10 minutes.

Anyone have the telephone number for the Telkom ADSL techs? If I call 10210 I just hold on forever.

migrate your line to CW and let them deal with Telkom ? :D

ASSIA strikes again? Still waiting my sync to be fixed. Of course Telkom/ZA indirectly said I was lying about my 20mbs syncs.
