That CW have no trial accounts doesn't make it easier, and I'm not a uncapped high volume user either so +1.

I've just introduced free 1GB test accounts for customers. Busy updating the (new) website (it's a helluva task) to open this up for everyone.

But you can hop over to live chat and the guys will walk you through setting up a free trial account.

May I ask, will this be a trial account that will give a good representation of what to expect with this new backbone?
I'm referring to other ISPs that prioritize their free accounts but once you sign up for the real deal the realworld application is much different.
 
It's incredibly difficult for me to do anything with your forum name.

It's always best to contact support so that we can see what's going on.

I haven't seen any reports of what you're experiencing though.

so i tried the detz again last night... i must say... its flying... the quality on my streaming is even better and i tried a torrent download, small 400mb file... 20 mins on a 4mb speed is fantastic... i dont usually download, maybe the odd movie here and there...99% of the time i stream so i'm a happy chappy

just one question though... i received the mail with my usage... now is it for daily usage or is it for total usage?

still no ADSL interwebz for me

looks like something significant got taken out during a storm on Tuesday night, neighbours on both sides are also ADSL/phone less :cry:

I have the same problem but it's been since last week. Funny thing is, my telephone line doesn't work at all but I still have access to my ADSL but it seems to be VERY slow even though I am syncing at my full line speed.

Only thing that is concerning me at the moment still is the latency and packet loss on this account. I'll probably be going back to TI this month, will pop around again when all this stuff is sorted out.

Also, another question, are these competition capped accounts month-to-month accounts (i.e. will it stop working at the end of the month)?

Yes, they are month to month and will end come month's end.
 
Usage email changes have been made and should reflect correctly now as well. :)
