Technical torrent question (capped account):

I use KmediaTorrent on Kodi and Popcorntime.

Trying to stream this evening after 6pm and I cannot get more than 130KB/s on a 20mbps connection on well seeded media.

Switching over to VOX, and it's immediately up to 700-1000KB/s.

Is this shaping by design ? I thought in the evenings it would be fine.

Although I do have International and local connection, on local it goes from 10 - 100 ms ping with a 200+ ms jitter, or above 60 % packet loss...

Telkom not only broke some of IS' IPC in Johannesburg but also experiencing a network outage. Apparently their (Telkom) technicians are onsite and trying to fix it...

Streaming is pretty crap on CW. 280 in netflix, switch to vox or wa. 720p.

Can confirm, streaming is atrocious tonight. My mother for the first time ever decided to stream Hulu and its buffering like crazy to the point where she is calling it ****e!

Streaming not up to usual standards. Although at least I can use the web now, unlike earlier. Anyone had any feedback from support yet (if you reported)?
