Your post is not related to the post nor is it constructive or helpful in any way... In fact this is trolling, to the degree that it makes you look stupid and a tryhard. Think you should gtfo
So I take it by the lack of complaints, everyone is happy today? OpenWeb/MrBEEP how has the traffic been today? If its the same or little lower than the last two days, what changes were made to allow for better browsing today? Just curious to see how this whole thing plays out, gone from outraged to interested.
So can all uncapped users confirm that you can indeed use the internet?
I just went back to work today, so i cannot check mine.
I had teamviewer open on my home PC but for some reason cant connect :< so i cant check.
Hi!So lets try something new today in helping MrBEEP & Co see where the issue is.
First off when posting about bad speeds post your location eg: Cape Town, Durban, JHB you get the drift. Second do the tracert to find out which network you are on, so if you are on IS which we all suspect to be the problem run the IS speedtest: http://speedtest-rba.isdsl.net/ and post your results. My suspicion is that you will see sub 56k speeds on that speedtest hence indicating a big issue. Now whenever I phone Telkom to get my line checked they have me run their own speedtest: http://capetown.spdtst.saix.net/ and give them the results. Now 9 times out of 10 when I have done this with my OW account the IS network is dead while the Telkom speedtest shows full line speed, therefore indicating the issue is not with my Telkom line.
If we can all do this maybe we can prove once & for all that the issue is with IS/OW & not our Telkom landline?
/if this did not make sense my apologies gotta run off to work...
It's an F Mr grammar.U got a F. Shame on u![]()
You missed some punctuation at the end there.
I can report my internet is usable i think touch wood
this is what they should have done forever there should never had been this shaping on it gold produkt
i is therefore still unhappiness at their serivce and overroll performance
raka if my post made you twitchy you should see a shrink![]()
Ive had similar issues with openweb, slow slow slow. The last time they reset the account was a month ago and its been fine since

I wouldnt say Openweb is perfect. But they are by quite some margin the best u can expect in SA
That certainly raises doubts about the IS speedtest's accuracy and usefulness. SO why would my account work well and others not? I am on 4Mbps Gamers king, with a 4Mbps line in Welkom. It shows that despite what some might think, not all Openweb customers are unhappy.
