Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

Anyone else with PAP authentication failure on VB? using IS account now. E-Mailed Keoma a while ago, no reply. Still can't authenticate.

anyone else having slow international speeds on 4mb gold accounts ? specifically the IS backbone
 
My VB account also fails to authenticate. Is there a general problem on the VB backbone? What was Keoma's response?
 
I've been getting really bad speeds this month on nntp. Tried vb and altech. Past months I used to get 400kbs now I can barely get 150
 
VERY glad to say my VB account is back to its old self again. I can access all International sites and everything just works right with good speeds.

I would imagine it's because both Seacom and SAT3 were restored.

Same here :)

Think I'll still drop MrBeep an email when I get home because I think I can get a little bit more speed wise, but suppose anything above 250kb/s is fine during business hours, although I did get 350Kb/s before this whole "certain websites timeout/not loading" phase started. But other than that, I'm really happy everything loads again now like it should :D
 
Can anyone give me details on the OpenWeb Summer Bandwidth Blast 1mbs uncapped R259 special? Is this an uncapped gold account?
 
Thanks, what is uncapped standard like? I really dont need to dl much more than 20gb a month. Would uncapped standard be decent for light to moderate torrent dls?
 
any1 on the bcs network disconnected aswell.
Im puzzling for hours now.
 
Hi all,

Anyone else getting verl poor speeds and browsing to international sites on IS, Local seems to be fine.
I have restarted my router and tested with Mweb account so it does not seem to be my line.
