No Rain? Thanks.
Don't think you're in for a pleasant weekend weather wise though. Wind forecasted all the way through with a bit of rain forecasted for Saturday and Sunday evening. Windy as hell today in the Garden Route. Hope it clears for you.

Yes, just checked now and it might rain a little bit on Saturday evening.

would be nice if the city clears the street gutters, every now and then...or when they have a break in setting up motions of no confidences...this morning most of the street in my hood was flooded.

We have that here in Stellenbosch, but my wife had this on the way to Epping today.

Right now? I was outside 30 minutes ago and in Bellville CBD it looked like there won't be any more rain
This is something I have noticed in the Northern Suburbs. Someone from Brackenfell will say it is almost flooding there yet at Vredekloof it looks like someone sneezed and in Durbanville it hailing.

So they are forecasting some rain for next week.

I think last year we received almost no rain in May

There will be a significant cold-front affecting the SW-Cape on Mon 7th and Tues 8th. However, the model runs are still very fickle, and it is impossible to give a definitive prediction of the amount of rain. Anywhere from 10-30mm is possible (always more over the mountain catchments).

Long-range forecasts (10-14 days) continue to show promising developments (more likely each week as winter approaches). However at such long durations there is no consistency in the timing of the events, nor the intensity and possibility of rain.

Get your buckets ready, and your boats. More localised flooding predicted for this evening and tomorrow.

This morning was hot, the air was warm like a berg wind. Quite bizarre for a winter storm.

I rate this is going to be an interesting one.
