Thats 1440w need min 2 batteries. You get a better deal buying separate. 720watt and 105ah going cost around 4k. But then run tv, fibre led lights, laptop all 2hours easily. This the one everyone is using? Seems cheaper buying everything separate

I see the cheapest one is the only one with a usb.Have a look at the micro ups range from uniterm. Very similar to the ratels.

will it be able to hand a mikrotik, cpe and a pi 4? The alone pi require a 15w charges, and this one is 17w
I think that converter is very similar, if not the same as the unboxed boards that you are using. The boxed version sells for about $2 on Aliexpress vs 50c for the unboxed boards. I definitely would not recommend that anybody spend R286 on a $2 product from China. You might even be able to get this item free of charge using a new signup coupon or a free Aliexpress Sale coupon (they gave me $5 worth of free coupons during the June Sale). The Amazin' Time Sale kicks off later today. I can send you my referral code if you want to purchase anything which should give you $30 in free coupons if you have never made a purchase there before.does that boost converter manage automatic switching or would the battery bank act as an online UPS? i ask because I currently have a 20kmAh bank connected to two boosters (https://www.communica.co.za/products/dgm-dc-dc-boost-adj-mod-5-35v-4a) for my modem and router but my battery bank doesnt like being on and and charging, it resets and causes the router to reboot when the power comes back
Considering the problems getting items from China at the moment due to the Covid-19 lockdown in SA, I think something like this would be a better choice than that 5V to 12V converter. Most power banks will struggle to supply 5V at 2A which would produce <800mA at 12V.

My router is 9v and modem 12v.
Now even though router is 9v it runs off a powerbank( 5v ) without any issues.
You could reduce the 12V output down to 9V by connecting a few diodes in series between the 12V positive output and the router 9V input. Each diode will drop the voltage by ~0.7V - so 5 diodes in series should drop it down to ~8.5V. Something like a 3A 1N5402 which costs around R1-50 each should be fine.I asked this question on another thread, but putting it here too for some opinion.

My question is, if I buy this mini ups, how do I connect it ?
12v out to modem, use a splitter and then a step-down module to the router
Or
12v to the modem and Just connect the router to the USB on this?
I am just not sure if it has a bypass on the USB out. I dont want to ruin its batteries.

When I measure the output voltage from the powerbank it's always between 5-6 vsome powerbanks have dual 5V/9V - some even 12V
Non of them have two separate DC ports for 9v and 12vThis one has both 9v and 12v output.
