Telkom 8 Mbps ADSL trial

As suspected a larger roll out started in PTA and should make way to areas around major JHB CBDs hopefully early next year or maybe even Dec
 
I wonder how these upgraded accounts will do on the uncapped Axxess Express+ accounts after hours? Will they get the full speed?
 
Blah! Why don't they rather spend their time putting in more lines. We can only afford 384 anyway, if they would give us lines...

strangely enough, there are guys in somerset west who have had 8mbps for AT LEAST 9months already...
 
This is not cool... So meaning no 8mb upgrade for me.

Great and all, but is the upload rate being increased too?
 
Will these upgrades happen automatically? Or will I have to phone telkom and ask them to do it for me?
 
I have a 20GB cap with telkom :-/

Agreed .. but I used Qos to make sure the wifes port 80 traffic is lower priority than my BF2 traffic
 
who do we have to bribe to get our local dslam on the "assigned randomly" list??

i will test the S H I T out of an 8mb line!!!!!!!
