Telkom FUP cap errors

Can't wait for Fibre.

At this stage I would be tempted to suggest that you DO wait with the fibre thing. Unless you get openserve/telkom coverage. Things seem to be fairly OK there. But in the end it is all about location, location, location.

Getting Fibre with SADV through DFA soon. Hopefully.
 
The telkom android app is also messed up.. This afternoon my usage showed 407,2gb then tonight it showed 293gb....i also checked this afternoon on the telkom portal on my pc and it showed i used 362gb and tonight it went back to 245,4 gb... Same thing happened last month and they pushed my rolled over date to 8th of January.Im on the 4mb uncapped

We have followed up with Telkom regarding over-reporting in the customer portal and its impact on FUPs being implemented on user accounts.
 
Of course Telkom is going to tell you to use the portal that shows the higher figures. It clear that they base their FUP levels on the higher numbers.

Also, check that they don't randomly change your reset date to a different date. Two months ago, I stayed on FUP 3 for an extra week.
 
4 mb . Reached 360 gb / FUP 3. REDUCED speed now 0.05 gb so they say. Reset date changed to 8 Feb. Speed Test gives 0 mb.
But I am streaming the cricket. No buffering. What more can I say.
Way to go Telkom.

Why do I have no priority pass option? I have not used any priority passes yet?

Amazing, spin from Telkom.

I use rain LTE from 11 PM to 6 PM (the next day) and yet some how I manage to rake up a total of 128 Gigabytes in 155 hours (5 hours a night * 31 days) - it would seem to me that the SAIX figure (65 GB) is the correct figure...

I can confirm I don't download on my ADSL line anymore, which makes the portal's figure bizarre :)
 
Contiued: Telkom's figures would imply that I'm using roughly 1 GB an hour, but my MikroTik reports 8 Gigabytes have been used over 5 days!

Therefore according to Telkom I've used (25 Gigabytes over the past 5 days ( (1Gb an hour x 5 hours) x 5 days)

Therefore Telkom has mislead you Mybroadband :)

Edit Edit Edit: You need to include the 25th as today's figures probably not reflecting on their system.
Brings me up to 9 GB still close enough to the MikroTik's reported figure.
 
im already on FUP level 2 on the second day of the month with 291Gb showing on customer portal!! and only 4Gb on saix usage tracker. WTH !This is ridiculous. Im on a 4Mb uncapped line.
 
Last night the Telkom portal was down for me and could not check, but logging in now and all seems "fine" again.
Maybe a bit too early to tell, but discrepancy now is a fraction of what it was last month when measured against SAIX usage logger.
