Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

Well, something has changed. Let's see how long this lasts for now.
 
Well got upgraded to 2mb this afternoon, and line went totally to hell, reset modem a few times.

Helped a bit, hope it stabilizes later ...
 
Origin is downloading an update at 400KB/s almost constantly. I'm hesitant to say that it's fixed, but it looks like there are improvements. Even GTA Online performance has been good.
 
finally i can stream twitch with no issues even at low , finally hope it stays with way lol
 
It's weekend. TI works flawlessly... The acid test will be Sunday evening, if it performs adequately then it can't get much worse. Good luck.
 
Hi,

Anybody having issues, I cannot open most .co.za websites, .com working fine.

Any ideas? Resting router not helping, speed test on 4mb is showing 2.5

Nothing downloading, when trying to download speed stays at 0KB/s

Things are looking good right now. Earlier was pretty bad though. Hopefully it stays this time.

Well, did my daily in Guild Wars 2, this morning, and had no problems.

Hoping it holds up for the rest of yhe day - gonna take a bath, then I am going to go WvWvW ...
 
Let's wait for next week. This is a trend of note. Ok internet during the weekends. Unbearable during the week
 
Woke up this morning, no adsl, no dial tone. Call 10210 and it sucks my airtime dry, drive to telkom at the mall, entire area (more than one exchange) is completely dead. Only came back up after lunch :rolleyes:
 
Well since day one with TI its been as follows:

NZB downloads: 400kb/s+
Torrents: < 50kb/s (Encrypted or otherwise, and that's being generous)
Gaming: red lat bars all round. (recently if I log into D3 solo, sitting in town I'll get ~230ms, going for a fight 800ms+)

So, maybe telkom is like government, his port number is.... 9 million, 30 thousand and 60 thousand... no wait....
 
Not gonna get excited but my torrents were flying at full speed earlier on. We'll see how it goes.
 
Went to our local Telkom shop on Friday, the lady there said I could use their phone to cancel, geez it was quick, I think I was on the phone for a total of 15 minutes.

And today, right now, my ADSL its flying. Downloading LoadOut from Steam at a solid 500KB/s and browsing and streaming it great. Wish it would stay like this.

Loadout downloading at 600KB/s on my 4Mb TI service. Awww fanks TI. ;)
