Using their website counts as an online purchase if you are with fnb. EfT's prolly 2 days to 5 days.
 
I want to thank TelkomZA for helping with an issue I have been experiencing the entire year so far, he really went the extra mile

Anyone's ADSL line go down at around 20:15 on Friday 27 Nov in the Faerie Glen area?
 
Been battling with no line. It's steadily been deteriorating over the last 6 months. Logged a fault had a technician on site, went off to the exchange never to return. Been consistently sending direct messages to TelkomZa on Twitter. They keep on promising to resolve this, that's where it stops.
No assistance or escalation 6 days without a line now.

They do this here as well.

I dunno who trains these guys. The company seems to have no work ethic.
 
Just wanted to say thanks to TelkomZA for sorting out my drop in sync speed. Am sure he has been very busy of late but appreciate the fact that he took the time to help me out.

ADSL has been down since 26th at work, is needed badly. Cannot figure out how to PM you from my phone. Month end without internet is a bugger

Try to log a fault using Telkom's free SMS fault reporting service. Send the landline number to 30591 and answer the sms with the appropriate issue. You get a reference immediately after. Time to fix varies but never longer than 48hrs in my experience.

Also ask the accounts department to credit with said reference otherwise no credit ;) for the number of days internet was down.

Will try that, but they are just going to quote the fault rerefence, I already have. Might expedite the repair, might not. In the mean time I must decide how many Wi-Fi dongles to buy, and how much Vodacom data to buy, so the essentials can be aatended to.

Still no ADSL,

@Yuu - SMS elisited the response I expected. Users at work are loving the Vodacom LTE, courtesy of 2x iPhone 6's and a Galaxy S6.
