The Corsa problem solver

Ignition barrel replacement issue: The "instructions" indicate that I must push down UNTIL IT CLICKS some slide mechanism before inserting the new barrel. I can push down as much as I want, the slide mechanism does not click into place to stay down.

Advice please as I now have the new barrel that I cannot install :-(

Does anyone have the torque settings for a Chev Utility 1.4 (2016)

Its still a corsa motor

Watch from ± 03:00 ...

Just confirm that engine code ...

I have a feeling that Z14XE might be the 16V engine?

im almost sure my 8V head was done at 25Nm then ...60º ...60º ....60º

The best problem solver for a Corsa is to sell it and buy a mercedes or a honda.
Ah ,, you obviously have not spent time on the Merc forums lately or look at their relative reliability rankings, nor have you tracked their service / maintenance prices skyrocket inversely to their rapidly declining sales numbers ...

Anybody please?
Not familiar with a opel ignition but if I remember correctly for audi and vw, you had to put the key on the ignition on position then a hole would open up in the barrel whereby you could push a wire down it to release it. Could be a similar setup

Hi Dimpie

Thanks for your video. I do everything up to about 2:30 (the below) but at that point the "gold looking mechanism" does not click into place and just jumps back ...
