If you call nearly a kilo a week slow...Nice progress. Slow and steady. Well done.

I think it's crazy fast tbh. Was hoping for half that

I didn't mean to slight your progress, sorry. I meant overall progress and more focus on steady, which is hard to achieve. "Slow & steady" just gets spits out due to habit. If you call nearly a kilo a week slow...![]()

No not at all, I didn't take it that way in the leastI didn't mean to slight your progress, sorry. I meant overall progress and more focus on steady, which is

Yeah, that is really good progress. No not at all, I didn't take it that way in the least
I just honestly can't believe how quickly this is working.
The study found that after 68 weeks, BMI dropped by an average of 16% in those treated with Wegovy compared with an average increase of less than 1% in those who received placebo. Around 73% of those who received Wegovy lost at least 5% of their weight
I've lost 5% in 8 weeks, not 68![]()
Remember that he is on Wegovy and you are not. You absolutely should not be comparing Sinbad to yourself or anybody else. His rate of loss is in reality insane and would be alarming and unsustainable if he wasn't on this medication.Yeah, that is really good progress.
Our bodies are really complex and I really don't know how it works in medical terms but as for me, I lost 9kg in 3 months and now battling just to drop even 1kg for nearly a month.Of course, many here have commented on this as normal and I believe you also battled with plateau at one stage so I am in good company.
oh no. I am not comparing but it is always good to know what others do etc..I wouldn't have started with Kettlebell if it was not @shadow_man and @InvisibleJim and KB sounds like something I enjoy now..Remember that he is on Wegovy and you are not. When I was much younger I lost 20kg in 6 months with low carb and daily walking to/from work.Remember that he is on Wegovy and you are not. How did you fix electronic scale? I have a new scale so I am fine but I have kept 2 old scales in the vain hope that there might be something that can be done with it.I finally "fixed/found" the electronic scale.
Body weight around 110 kg
I expected something like that, but seeing a number cements it more in reality.
Going to try and lose 10 kg as a first goal.
When I say "fix", I mean replacing the battery so it actually worksHow did you fix electronic scale? I didn't get fat when I was younger but about 15 years ago, we used to do time trial once a week in florida / emmarentia lake and my calorie spend was easily 1000+ calories after time trial of just under an hour. Other practice sessions were easily 700+ calories per hour and once you are in kayak, you do spend 1.5 hour easily. Gave up kayaking due to time+money issues but those were insane days. When I was much younger I lost 20kg in 6 months with low carb and daily walking to/from work.
