Under The Dome

Not having watched episode two yet, I was thinking, how does oxygen get into the dome, and why on earth don't they just dig under it? Like mine shaft tunneling, not stupid little hole.

I have only watched the first episode and it was good. Not the best, but good. But have other better stuff to watch.

Will continue this if there isn’t anything better(which will probably be never)
 
The dome is a giant closed ecosystem.The wind is way too strong in some scenes though but thats kinda impossible to control while shooting.Dont let these small details spoil the whole show for you...its not a documentary :D
 
Watched up to episode 6... Quite intriguing.. Stop getting caught up in the little technical details... focus on the main ideas, the mystery and strangeness of the situation.
 
You'll never get a film/series to follow the book to a t. Never in a million years. There just isn't enough time to deal with the details a book allows you to have. Stories are trimmed, side stories are cut/merged, characters ''lose weight'', secondary characters are cut or multiple secondary characters are merged into one, new characters are created to broaden the shows appeal.

I've seen all of the episodes to date, and I have to really wonder what it is that you all are enjoying about it? :confused:

The story hasn't gone anywhere whatsoever since the dome came down. The character development is non-existent. The characters themselves are forcefully cliched. The acting is horrendous. The special effects are sometimes ok and other times atrocious (the fire in the trash can?). The story is intentionally convoluted to drag out explanations that I am anticipating could have taken all of a few minutes to explain. Unbelievably stupid schit keeps happening for what appears to be no reason at all. The script is awful and littered with syntax errors.

I just don't understand what is so enjoyable about this series so far...

Do you want them to give all explanations and then chase all existing viewers away lol
Im taking it you didnt watch the latest episode where they find the power source of the dome?
Where do you want the story to go? They are after all trapped in a giant dome.
I find the acting ok to be honest,Character development is lacking i agree.

I love sci fi and King so i will continue to watch.
