Actually this is a bit of an ambiguous topic. What I gather, is the following facts;
• The antenna issue is real, and does exist, but…
• Apple no longer see it as a big issue, claiming it only effects a very very small percentage (like as in single digits), and are therefore going back to the claim that the phone is fine for resale.
Not sure if they will be proven correct or not, but they usually have great support…? The whole debacle has sort of thrown everyone for a loop, so only time will tell if they are telling the truth, or if this is just marketing spin. I guess it is something one should take into consideration before buying, especially if you are left handed (but who cares about lefties anyway?).
I for one, do think the whole issue was blown out of proportion, and I choose to believe I will not have an issue. Let’s be honest, Apple does have a loyal hater following, so their problems are often exaggerated. The iPhone 3g was supposed to drop call incessantly, which I am sure some people experienced. I for one have never had a dropped call, so go figure.
