Weight Loss Thread 2014

Hi all. So I've lost a couple of kg's and I'm down from 112 to 107 in 3 weeks. For the first two weeks I didn't drink much water, only when I was thirsty. This week I've made a commitment to drink 2.25 liters at work. Since I've been doing this I've not been losing weight and I'm also not running to the toilet a lot either. Am I seriously dehydrated or what's going on? I'm doing Lchf a d otherwise feeling great. I also do a bit of treadmill running every 2nd day.
 
I'm currently sitting on 98kg....glad I broke the 100kg mark. Gonna work out hard tomorrow onwards to get it to the safe 95kg....will be heading back to university this Monday, will commence gym on Tuesday.

I've started taking a liking into green tea. Been drinking quite a bit of water everyday....about 1.5l on average.
 
I was just thinking that with all the people in this thread and the various approaches we've actually got quite a nice little experiment going on, if only we could quantify the data effectively
 
OK so I got my hands on some coconut oil from Crede, the stuff smells amazing. I had to stop myself from eating a spoonfull. :D

I made some of the bulletproof coffee this morning along with my usual breakfast of 3 eggs with cream, some corriander and breakfast meat scrambled in. I ate around 7am and its 13:15 and I still don't have the desire to eat. I have had a cup of green tea and about a liter of water but no hunger.

Is this the way its supposed to go?

Forgot to add that I normaly have a fruit snack round 10:30 and lunch at 12:30 on regular days.

not unusual, I'm only starting to contemplate lunch now and I haven't eaten anything since 08:00
 
I certainly don't limit myself. I'm busy cooking two large pork sausage hamburger patties to eat with fried eggs. Keto ftw...

That sounds more like it! Gawd with the quantities some of these allude to that they consume - or I am inferring erroneously from their posts - they have to be a bunch of stick men. :D

Will be getting the Real Meal Revolution on E-book. Will be trying this LCHF thing properly in the coming months...but currently taking in about 90g of carbs in the form of oats and dextrose is serving me hellawell with training and cm are cutting.

Also thank you for the science bits being explained and the links to articles...really great reads!
 
I don't concider eggs with heavy cream and cheese a little food, before I was eating half a cup of cereal... that's a little food :D. I'm just not hungry right now, no headache, no midday slump. I also dont want to eat something just for the sake of it.... listening to my body and all that. :love:
 
How the hell do you people function on so little food :P

this morning I had 2 poached eggs, 4 rashers of bacon and half an avo washed down with an FFC of 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, 2 tablespoons Omega Sport oil and 2 tablespoons of cream

I had coffee with 2 tablespoons cream, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons upgraded mct oil.

For lunch I had 4 scrambled eggs made with cream, lard, and butter, threw in some ham, and a chopped up tomato. Then I had a tablespoon of fish oil. And a cup of green tea with 2 tablespoons of cream, and a tablespoon of upgraded mct.

Dinner will be two avos, a chicken breast or two, and veggies from the garden.

Oh and never mind the massive quantity of raw almonds I'll munch on later. And I'm tinnnny!
 
I have 2 eggs for breakfast with full fat green tea, snack on fruits, cheese and dark chocolate through the day and have a paleo meal for supper. Never have to be hungry.
 
I have not been hungry most of the time since I went proper on Monday. messed up last night. today hasn't been strict except lunch. dinner will be strict again. I accept the good with the bad.

when I wasn't getting hungry last night my mind couldn't reconcile. I ate lunch at work. got home and made supper. didn't eat anything. drank water mostly until I had the brainfart. kept on thinking 'but im supposed to eating supper'.
