Weight Loss Thread 2014

Reading Wheat Belly... very interesting so far.

I really enjoyed it. Devoured it, you could say...

Didn't have time for breakfast this morning and was busy solidly from 8:30 to 16:00. By the time I was done, I was literally ready to collapse.

Had a big oily meal after though (veg, egg, etc) and I got flooded with energy, thank god.

Also, to the nice forumite who PMed me, I appreciate it, and will furnish you with a reply soon, thanks.

Thanks for the break-down, that's the info I was looking for.
I knew it wasn't within LCHF limits, that's why I asked.

I am slowly starting to get closer though... :)

That's not LCHF. Macros should be around :
65/30/5
Fat/Protein/carb

Did anyone catch the full interview with Tim Noakes on 5FM a couple minutes ago?
I caught it right at the end.

Been a good 4 weeks...

Weight down 5.2kg and more importantly bodyfat % is down while lean mass picked up. That is the kinda math I like.

If anybody wants any of the videos from the paleo conference I posted about earlier just give me a shout. I'm too busy to watch so I'm saving them for the weekend.

I see a couple sessions I would like to watch:

http://paleocon.com/schedule/

It's called "FatSecret" on the Google Play Store, but I also use the website - http://fatsecret.co.za/
Data is synced between phone and website.
There is also some handy recipes, and there is a lot of Woolies goods under the foods section, with the relevant nutritional info.

CodeMaster, what app you using to track that? Appologies if it was mentioned before.

my usual

5 rashers of free range nitrite free bacon
2 free range eggs
and a full fat coffee

Good stuff!! I can live with that for my daily breakfast!! I thought dieting was meant to be hard?? I guess that's what differentiates a LCHF diet from other diets. IT'S SUSTAINABLE!!!! :)

I've picked up a Magnesium supplement, as advised to me, to try and help with the exhaustion.

Also, I had an apple yesterday, which helped a lot.

I still have to do a lot of research as to what exactly is going on in my body, to get a proper handle on the situation. Time to stop reading political books and start some health books.
