is anyone running these products?
can you confirm if the device runs an IPSEC or L2TP tunnel to the ISP's hosting centre, and breakout to the internet from there?
if so, does it mean you cannot use it to create VPN tunnels to other offices?, as there is too much overhead?
So I downloaded Route sentry and decided to test it with my Vox ADSL phone. I'm using windows 2000 so I had to download RASPPPOE to establish ppp through ethernet connections. I created a connection called local and a connection called international.
Now heres the part that was worrying me...
some guy just called me on my cell from a really crappy line. He said he was from @lantic and they are promoting Vox.
I asked him where he got my number and he said from a "client database".
I have never had any business with @lantic Internet... and I don't appreciate the cold call...
