Do you have any signal stats you can share? If you have bad signal with Afrihost MTN Fixed LTE, you'll have it with Supersonic too.im getting terrible speeds with Afrihost MTN LTE. 3mbps down and 1.2mbps up. does anyone have any idea what i can do. i'm thinking of switching over to Supersonic because these speeds are terrible and Afrihost has offered me no solution to the problem.

All lights on the ZTE say I’m connected as does the router webpage itself (doesn’t display the SIM card number though, is this normal?)
Weird thing is I can ping and tracert to websites (dns names, not IP) but I’m unable to browse.
Anyone experienced this before? Was working absolutely fine this morning.
EDIT: found the issue. For some reason I was only given 5GB data for the month. Now to go and fight with Afrihost, sigh.

Are you running on our MTN or Telkom LTE packages? Perhaps drop me a PM with your clientzone details and we'll go through a few troubleshooting steps.Good day, i wanted to know if my wireless is connecting to Capetown servers but i am located in pretoria. Is there a way to get me connected to joburg servers? I have noticed every now and then it gets connected to joburg and my ping is atleast 50 ms better internationally and localy. But after a while it just reverts to Capetown servers.

Yes, this has been resolved (all cable breaks).Has Afrihost resolved their international speed issues now? I wanted to test their MTN pure LTE package but held off when everyone started complaining about slow international speeds after the 1st cable break earlier this year.
It is the same network however devices are different. It would depend on what the device speed is capable of.Following this thread.... thought of switching to MTN or Telkom from my Rain Fixed LTE... but looks like people have equal amount of issues.
I do however have a prepaid MTN sim card in my iPhone and I buy data through Afrihost for R69 per GB.. I get about 70mbps on speed tests. Does MTN Fixed LTE run on the same network or not quite?

Why must I run after you if I'm paying you for the service?!?!?!?
