I am experiencing a strange anomaly since I upgraded to Pure Fibre 200/100.
When my MacBook or my Apple TV is connected to my router over WiFi, a speed test indicates close to 200/100 speeds for both devices. However, when I plug the devices into the router with an Ethernet cable, I am getting speeds of about 100/100.
If anything, surely the situation should be the other way round?
Remember that some LAN cables (and routers/switches) can only achieve 100Mbps. Some of the Mac Adapters (especially USB) are also limited to 100Mbps. So check your signal chain and check if there is anything potentially limiting speeds.
