Yea, and its rubbish... its slow and laggy on my iphone 5 while whatsapp is much smoother.
Not a fan of the icon layout for the contacts, but that can be changed to a list layout.
Only nice thing is you can see when a message has been read, but knowing when someone was last online is the same thing essentially.
So Ill stick to whatsapp.

The queue will be in the order of at least a million people.

The previous failed launch taught them a lesson and BlackBerry has learnt from it. The use of a phased roll out is better because it balances out the load on the infrastructure.

They haven't learned anything, they should have made sure they enough capacity, its been almost a month since their failed launch.
 
Download it from US store. Preregistrated last month. Officially working from my side.
