Look here we are "launching" today...but wait the demand is (fabricated I'm sure) allegedly too high so we are using a queing system to let you in.

What a ****ing joke? Do they think people will honestly care by the time they "allow" them in? Most will probably just delete it the moment they get that message and remember Blackberry for exactly how **** it is.

i see on cnet, they claiming 5 million downloads in 8 hours,

How will they generate revenue on this App ? Pay bandwidth/staff that manage the app.

It might bring more people onto BBM so that the people on Blackberries have one less reason to change brands...

So it seems to work fine with the BBM connection notification icon enabled. I don't like icons hogging my notification area. ANyone else have issues with this?

The benefit of BBM is that you can uninstall Whatsapp and never receive IM's from random people again.

People always argue this, but for some reason, in over 3 years of WhatsApp usage, I have not once been contacted by someone unknown to me. I must be lucky I guess.

Pull your notification tab down slightly every 2 seconds, it refreshes and tries again.
