Do you own or use a printer?

YEs, unfortunately you cannot get rid of the printer just as yet. There's still a lot o paperwork flying around :)

I have a printer at home (low end Canon B&W laser)
Don't use it much but hard copy is occasionally still necessary

we bought one when my wife was teaching. we don't use it often, but we are frequently grateful we have it! theatre tickets, random forms, making homemade cards and lables...

i would never have bought one if it weren't for my wife, but i have never once regretted the purchase

at home, most for scanning and the odd print or copy job ...

I have a trusty old HP B&W laser printer (1020), which I typically use a few times a month, have owned it for over 10 years. Also have a HP Officejet 6000 which I've owned for 5 years, also still going strong, use it a bit less than the Laser printer on average.

Oh and I also have a 3D printer.. :p .. which I hardly ever use. :o

Not a great investment for the home in 2017. I occasionally print articles just to see if it works and to check whether my eyes can still read from paper.

Got an HP1515 (print/scan/copy). About 4 years old. Never use colour, but black is used fairly often for printing recipes (I don't have a computer or tablet in the kitchen?). Every time I try to print a popup message tells me the print carriage has jammed. I just click the "OK" button and it prints perfectly thereafter. The printer cost about R900 when I bought it. I consider it a very good investment. I don't buy paper - I use the back of scrap or discarded paper from office.

We have two, one for my wife and one for me. Used for printing, scanning, copying. At least a few times a month. My wife prints out patterns for her files and for quick reference.

Have my own at home. Very handy as I used to have to got to a print shop to print anything.

I use a printer at work and a printer to scan at home. It is still very much relevant because in South Africa there are still a vast amount of ignorant and naive people and corporations. I was one of them, why? Because me was afraid of DA, sorry I mean change.

I have an old Samsung ML1210 black & white laser printer and a new CLX-3305 colour laser with scanner at home. I am retired. Use both of them.

Just purchased a new colour laser Canon multifunction today. Kids in school and varsity, and print quite a lot.

Replacing a black and white laser, and barely functioning colour inkjet multifunction.

Never owned one of my own, the office one gets used for all the stuff people have a legal requirement for, mostly financial related.

Since laws in SA don't see most digital documents as legally binding I'd say it'll be around for a while.

I don't have a printer at home and have seldom needed one. I have to print proposal documents at work every now and again when we submit tenders since government departments are almost entirely still paper based. The only time I needed a printer at home last year was to print a menu for a party I held and to print Christmas gift tags I designed.

I own a multifunction printer at home, used for scanning and limited printing.
I use a monochrome desktop printer in the office and also access a shared colour printer.
