EA will remaster Command & Conquer: Red Alert in 4K

Anyone here who play OpenRA is able to compare the remaster?

This is the latest OpenRA patch,

I am going to get the Remaster a bit later this month, and I see that they haven't included any QoL improvements as with those in OpenRA.

~50k players online with the Remaster. I guess they did well with sales. Not too many complaints on Steam other than some having 'compatibility' issues.

Apparently they lost the original footage, so they were unable to remaster the FMV's

Command and Conquer was the first game I laid actual cash out for, bought it from Software Connection in Eastgate shopping mall.

That explains it, the quality is like the old days, just than it was on a 14" 640x480 monitor, now it's on a 32" 1440p monitor

I'm actually the opposite. Should have left it where it was as a distant great memory of the games that got me into PC gaming.
I don't want to complain too much as it is exactly what I and everyone else asked for but it just feels too simple. I've played a couple of games and I'm bored already.

Maybe I'm comparing it to AOE2 DE. I've already put in probably 200 hours and loving it as the game has got serious depth, new factions and proper qualify of life updates.
