The mounting portion can be mounted at an angle, not the biggest angle though, if you look at the right hand side of my handle bars the unit is mounted where the bar starts to bend.

The unit though cannot be turned for landscape viewing.

A pic will come later when I'm not lazy to go to the garage.
 
Yup plenty of them around.

Vloggers use them a lot and BMW even sells one for their scooter range but also fits on other bikes.

Check Aliexpress.
 
Anyone know where in Cape Town one can buy Biltwell accesories?
I'm looking to buy one of these Full Face Bubble Visors. https://mxalliance.co.za/product/biltwell-bubble-shields/

Bought one (no name brand) from Mr Helmet on Friday, but it's way to small, covers the face till about upper lip only and leaves a gap on the sides.
Los Muertos (Loop Street) has, but they sell them at R890 each.
If no1 else in cape ton sells, i'll just have to get it from MX Alliance and ship it down.

The best Handlebar mount you can probably get is a RAM mount kit like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbq-broqIzs&t=1s

Motomate in JHB stocks them (at an absolutely insane price), its very nice tho! Check Bid or buy for a cheapy!

So my delivery is here, and I've already mounted it, will test it this afternoon on my home :D

Not sure why you say it can't be turned for landscape viewing.

I meant like when its portrait there's no easy landscape option, without undoing the little ball/wheel thing

Looks good though and much cheaper than other options.

Going to put my spare phone in there for the first couple of days/weeks, just to make sure the phone doesn't sommer fall out. :D

Haha I also didn't trust it at first, but so far its been pretty good, very stable even on the bumps, I trust it fully now, done some high speeds (on a closed off private road) with it already.
