Iv sent the latest via pm.

I honestly am not intereted in Cell C, they must just refund me and go fly a kite

all areas... randburg, 4 ways, northgate, sandton

I dont have a data card, but i have mobile data on my phone in Sandton (i worked there in Jan and Feb), and i didn't have any issues.

What i have found is that when there are a lot of people in close proximity to each other - usually data throughput it non existent. But even then, in a packed Sandton City on a friday afternoon i was fine.

Cant comment on Randburg, Fourways and Northgate.

Due for a contract upgrade and would love to leave Vodacom....but then I never have any issues...just their pricing that is a big problem...

My internet connection is almost useless today. At most times Speedtest.Net cannot find a server and when it does, my speeds are ridiculously slow. Even a snail could move faster.
I dread to think if this internet issues are even going to get resolved anytime soon.
I'm afraid, all of us experiencing these problems are in for a long bumpy ride.
So lets fasten our seatbelts & see where Cell C are taking us.
I hope........its not to Neverland.

I find it "weird" that I've experienced this situation only once since this problem started showing up and that was at Loftus when the Bulls played the Stormers (with probably 50000 other people sharing the same tower) ... full signal but no data throughput.

Granted I only use my phone for browsing so I never felt the need to do a speedtest to see if there is an actual speed issue but at least I always have internet.

P.S Spend 99% of my time in either Montana (Pretoria North) or Centurion ... don't know if those areas have been mentioned in the other thread. Could this issue be phone related? Maybe I'm just lucky? Who know what is going on?

Why I stick with Vodacom and just smile and wave at the OOB shark that I know I can manage in a gazillion of ways. I use Cell C and MTN but Vodacom are just far more of a sure thing for me. You get what you pay for. Cheap data will result in cheap staff, support, etc.

Prior to the month of February i had no internet issues at all. It all started during the first week of February & has been problematic ever since. Its definately not phone related as my other friends in my area ( Phoenix, Durban North) have blackberry's and other Android phones & are also having the same problems. They just like me are holding onto our reference numbers & counting how many days this issue has been painfully dragging on.
Its happening all over, not only in Durban but the rest of the country.

Tick Tock !! Tick Tock !! Tick Tock !!
Week 7 & still we are no closer to any resolution. Cell C, take a look around & you'll see a lot of disgruntled customers & justifiably so.

Cell C, initially your vision & concept were widely applauded & i was one of them giving u a thumbs up. However, its now become evidently clear that your cheap data has become flawed by your substandard network we've become accustomed to during the past 6 weeks.

Can we still harbour any glimmer of hope. Come on Cell C, you could at least show us a little bit of transparency. Its now week 7 & much to my bemusement, those of us affected are sitting with a product thats pretty much useless.

My issue is definitely resolved for almost a week now. I see someone posted in a separate thread that he received a call and his is also fine now.
It might be a good idea for everyone that complained to post an update. Resolved or not. Then we can get an idea of what the situation is.

My issues in Midrand seem to have resolved. Went through a slow patch for a couple of weeks but my speedtests are showing 4-5mbps during the busy times of the day again.

Whereabouts in Midrand? I am still getting dropped and missed calls (phone doesn't even ring) and full data signal...no throughput.
