Guys, firstly sorry for posting this here, as it's not a CW related problem, but aside from me waiting for a response from Telkom, CW is my last bastion of hope for help.
The question: where would my problem lie if that line diagnostic tool (MTR?) records EVERY fifth packet as a loss? In the same period of testing, running a tracert to any website now ALWAYS results in the second hop being a timeout, thereafter going through at what I'd call 'normal' times (~14ms).
Telkom (I REALLY hope just for testing) lowered my profile to 5mbps, from 10.... however just waiting for Google.co.za to fully load could take upward of 30 seconds. This was not constant, but happened regularly enough for me to notice.
The cherry on top for me was my inability to connect to any game in Mechwarrior Online. Logging in is fine, but there were other reports of people experiencing the same problem if you had major stability problems with your connection, citing packet losses and UDP(?) loss as the reason... I just don't know enough about what's wrong on my side to know that the aforementioned is the problem.
Any guidance/help would be great, while waiting for Telkom.
