Also on the newsserver that requires login do we use the ADSL credentials or one has to get creds specific to the newsserver? Tried my ADSL credentials but no joy

My login details for the news server ends with @news.crystalweb.com. the part before that is the same as your adsl login.

There is, where do they come from then? The login for the secure server is my username and password according to the pdf I got.

It looks like it differs from how they process the new signups. Best then is to contact support through live chat from 10am and they have to sort it out.

Can't even stream a radio station or even ping bbc.co.uk it just times out but local seems fine.

Looks like it is a IS outage. Once the hop jumps overseas it dies. Tried a IS account with another IS and same problem.

I've just been talking to support, and it's fine now - Either it's coincidentally appeared to have had something to do with my DNS settings, which I changed, or the issue cleared up during the troubleshooting.

Yup just started working on my Openweb account too.
 
I'm considering an uncapped premium product for home use and am wondering what the difference is between the premium home and premium business packages in relation to soft caps and such? I just want a solid stable connection with full speed whenever I want without wondering about throttling etc.

I am on a 4mb line using about 200gb a month for general surfing, the odd torrent, a bit of VOIP but mostly streaming Netflix, Hulu, BBC, ITV etc.

Any advice on a package to choose?

My understanding is - anything with Home in the title will be SHAPED depending on "DEMAND"

The Business premium is the current test account - ask for a test account - test account flew at all times when I tested it
 
What has happened to the level of support at CW? Tickets are not being followed up on, can't get hold of anyone to escalate to. Streaming giving me issues lately, support staff not familiar with current business offerings etc. I love you guys but please for all that is holy. Please Help!

can someone on an uncapped premium account test a torrent and tell me current speed you getting.
