Oneplus 5T

I personally love a fingerprint sensor on the front of a phone. While putting it on the back really free's up a lot of screen real estate, it's not as intuitive to use hidden on the back of the phone. Would love to see it implemented into the screen. Or alternatively face recognition.

Yeah, the in-screen method would be interesting. But you might find the one on the back is pretty intuitive, unless you like using the phone flat on the table.

OnePlus 5 128GB just keeps proving itself as a Flagship Killer. The 5T is going to be interesting to see, with the normal 5 still out here tearing apart big name brands.

Yeah. I'm loving my 5!! Not sure the 5T will be any quicker. In fact it might be slightly slower powering the quad HD 6" screen. Apparently camera optics have seen an improvement too. Both dual lens camera are now 20mp and 1.6 aperture vs 1.7 for a slight improvement in low light conditions. Also portrait mode for the front facing selfie camera. Fingerprint sensor on the rear. Starting price $549... 64gb/6gb model I assume....

OnePlus 5T will be announced on November 16th

OnePlus is just a week away from unveiling its next phone. The company announced today that it’ll be holding a launch event for the OnePlus 5T — a rumored revamped, larger version of this year’s OnePlus 5 — on Thursday, November 16th.

We’re getting some launch details early, too. OnePlus says the 5T will go on sale in North American and Europe just a week later, on November 21st. It’ll be widely available in India starting November 28th, and it’ll come to China December 1st.

Joh but the price close to 15k with them!!!

Indeed, same here!

I wasn't expecting to see it locally anytime soon, TBH.

The demand must be pretty high for FNB to take it on.

Very, very surprised to see FNB endorsing it!! Also surprised to see them punting the 5? That could be a mistake with the 5T making its international debut in about a weeks time...

Surely it won't be long before we start seeing the big networks offering contracted OP's?

Not something new as oneplus did it with all the previous ones also.

I used to be all about keeping current, but honestly, it doesn't bug me anymore. So much so, I actually just ordered a replacement battery for my OP2.

The phone itself is still performing exceptionally well, and when the day comes that it finally breaks for good, I'll just buy whatever model is available then, and run that until the wheels come off.

Rinse and repeat.

I wasn't planning on getting the 5 but caved. In hindsight I should have waited. 5 is a great piece of kit and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. 5t brings the 5 into the year 2017 though. And it doesn't jelly scroll.
