OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread (Pt2)

So after months of trouble and complaints to openweb with not being able to use my Gold account during 8am to 5pm,
I was moved over to @youruncap acccount.

Can anyone tell me more about this account?
Also it seems that it doesnt connect to IS news server anymore and torrents are blocked. But other than that I have all day access with is nice.
 
UPDATE: THE TRUTH ABOUT OPENWEB

Internet Solutions / Dimension Data decided to ignore me completely. No responses besides the original acknowledgement on my original complaint. After that only silence. No reply on any of my further correspondence.

Icasa and the ISPA also choose to ignore me completely.

Lodged several complaints on HelloPeter.com but they had all been deleted within hours after being published. Funny thing is that HelloPeter.com list Openweb as a company that don't respond, yet Openweb ads are all over HelloPeter.com And its been deleted after objections by Openweb that basically tell me that HelloPeter lost its way.

So it seem that Openweb can basically do what ever they want and get away with it.

I'm really glad I left when I did.

I CAN"T wait for the end of December! This Business Uncapped Unshaped Account is beyond useless, the moment 8am strikes the account becomes a standard dial-up line speed :D

Not even worth complaining anymore to Openweb - latest response " I am connected to your account without any issues, please get Telkom to checkout your line"..... Funny that, any other capped account performs at full speed and not at dial-up speed.

Come 1 January OpenWeb will merely be a past memory.

Gold, Silver, Bronze, Gamers Delight, Leon, Orange, Vanilla, Downloaders Bling, Unshaped, Platinum, Business - All the same account....
 
Well I'll be the lone voice by offering some positive feedback here.
And that is that I want to praise OpenWeb's free gig account. :p
I can usually squeeze out a total of 6-7 GB's per month before the cap kicks in. :D

Somewhere in South Africa there's 6 users wondering what happened to their free OW 1 gig account :whistle: #Sharedcappedaccounts :p
