OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread (Pt2)

They absolutely can, but your understanding of uncapped is incorrect. Uncapped internet is not 'eat as much as you can'.

With that mentality, I'm thrilled to not have abusers on my network, quite frankly.

Your understanding of the word and definition of Uncapped is incorrect. I'm not an abuser, I am only expecting to get what I am paying for. Your mentality is typical of people in this country just accepting and getting used to the opposite

My understanding of the word uncapped in its strictest sense is crystal clear. It is your misunderstanding of the term, in the broadband/internet sense, at play here.

Anyone with interest in an ISP would also disagree strongly.

As a consumer who feels they're being ****ed over, I understand where you're coming from.

You can get what you pay for, just do it after hours and spare us who aren't interested in downloading the internet.

My mentality sees the more important stuff coming before your downloading, I'm afraid.

Please do provide an insightful explanation as to why/how uncapped internet as we tend to know it should be limitless?!

Think you're confusing cheap ass uncapped with "proper" uncapped.

We have "proper" uncapped but I highly doubt you'll pay for it (4mb uncapped about R2000), and you can thank Telkom IPC for that.

Disagree IMHO.

Uncapped internet is a service like electricity, it's there when you need it, not to let the copper glow to "get your moneys worth".

LOL, now you sound like Eksdom, please switch of the pool pumps, lights, geyser, etc. Since when do a service provider ask it's customer not to use it's product?

As per my post earlier, I totally agree with you on the Telscum IPC prices. Uncapped from years ago gradually changed into your "cheap ass" and "proper" due to this

So while you guys b!tch and moan about Uncapped on these forums everyday, I will continue to enjoy Capped

I'm sure we're all pleased that you will continue using what you want to. It wasn't an issue.

Your false statements here were the issue, which is why several people disagreed with you.

Who was bitching and moaning? Personally I'm 100% happy with my unshaped uncapped. Mind you though, I don't want to download lots of stuff.

Exactly why no ISP can deliver on the Uncapped package they sell. If I pay for Uncapped Unshaped I expect to get full download speeds 24/7 no matter how much data I download. With Telscum and cANCer having the monopoly on the price they sell to the ISP's, I don't blame the ISP's either

So no, they can't

False statements... please

You should really consider moving to Shaped to suit your needs and save some money with all the price hikes hitting us now :)

Well if he wants to pay for unshaped what does it concern you? You just carry on worrying about your excellent service from openweb and worry about those price increases. I'm sure we can decide which service provider and what products we want to pay for from legitimate companies.

Beep when you gonna pay me my fee? You stopped responding on whatsapp when you pussied out of the thread?

For everyone to note;
Keoma Wright promised to pay me R1500 for promoting Openweb when he stopped using the cableguy account.
