Weight Loss Thread 2014

I would rather go the other way around, medium protein high fat, high protein can still give an insulin response

Good point will do that a bit this week. Had a few extra carbs today by having pork ribs meat at mother in law. Didn't realise it had so many carbs. Normally i have between 40-60 gr and today with 150gr. Oh well will be more careful next time

are you 157.5? :p:D
:D 159cm and 62kg. I'll be happy if I can get down to 56kg, ecstatic if I manage to get down to 52kg. If you're looking for a place to start with your weight loss plan, google for information on Paleo/Low Carb,High Fat/and Keto.

One day, is one day I'll weigh that again... lol, but baby steps. I have started reading up on the others, but I am not familiar with Keto so that is being googled as we speak.

Weighed in this morning.

101.4kg. Which means a 2.6kg loss after one week. I'm extremely happy with that. I would have been happy with 1kg. So this is really encouraging.

Right, weighed in this morning - a bit apprehensive as I'd had my first cheat day(since 1 Jan) on Saturday. Clocked in on 104,6kg, my lowest weight since 2006! Super motivated again. Thank you mr Banting!

I'm quite irritated. Been doing this for about 4 weeks, feel a lot lighter but the scale doesn't reflect this. Been training, weight and cardio, so probably retaining water, but still.... :o

So the same problem with someone else. The weight loss happens quite sudden. Know if someone that lost 7kgs in 1 month.

I think I've hit my ceiling regarding working out. Yesterday I did 900m swimming, 50 squats, 50 sit ups, punch bag for 10mins and a short walk (brand new Cats and they killed my toes) and I was wasted, wow. I'm hoping my 'ceiling' is ok to carry on with, I don't really want to push myself too much and do damage.

Can you use this diet as an endurance athlete?
Im busy training up for some heavy races and from reading it looks like there is a point where you cant exercise for a while.
