Isn't 666 the mark of the beast... perhaps there should be a Beast mode package not AfriBlue ... :P

Ok. 9:15 on a Monday night, and I cannot stream SD content from youtube on my 20meg vdsl business uncapped account. Shame on you Afrihost!!!
 
AH, has someone been fiddling again? My internet was awesome from Wednesday until tonight when it has reverted back to the s*** performance of before. :(


EDIT: Switch to WA and my downloads chug along nicely. Even google android apps are performing nicely. So no, my exchange CAN NOT be blamed for everything.

Morning everybody

Nice to see we're rocking the threads and keeping the mods busy ;)

Just a general comment - we know that performance on the current is still pretty horrible at times. Our guys are working as hard as they can to improve the current experience, and test and ready the POC networks. I think it makes sense to prioritise the new network, cos when the clients that have signed up move over, we should see an immediate positive impact on the current network performance. I know I'm not offering much new info there - I do hope to be able to confirm some sort of ETA as soon as that is shared with me.

Also, since we're in a new thread and the old one is locked - if you posted something that needed a response, please resend via PM so I can make sure I didn't miss any important queries.

But seriously, whats the update re: Gians post.

We don't have any further specific updates, except that we're still on track to move to POC networks early this week, as per the last update I received. Let's hope that all goes well on that front :)

No major changes were made that I am aware of, but things have been pretty up and down of late. I must be honest and say we'll only see very significant performance improvement when the new networks have taken on a large amount of traffic to ease up congestion on the current network :(

Semantic aside, I think any day would still be reasonable considering the amount of work that goes into designing two entirely discreet networks. But Gian did say early this week, so I am hoping so as well :)
 
I Am very upset now i was waiting for the the 10 000 post spot :( on the other thread.....

Now back to me being **** with AH. Your Accounts Department does not want to do Refunds on anything with accounts that was used for 2 or 3 days and not EVER AGAIN. (While this issues are on)

Also 2 weeks have passed like i have stated and GAIN is no where to be found. Empty Promises and nothing back. I know the AfriHost Team are posting here in MyBB but still the info is lacking the fundamental CORE Info.

There is NO Guildelines on Progress,
There is NO News on Network Testing
There is NO News on Client Reimbursement for the issues that has happened since 90% of people had to pay for another ISP.


The same message is we are busy and hard ar work. Where is this BUSY part and HARD AT WORK. the Clients are not seeing a thing and it is very unprofessional for not 1 E-MAIL to get sent out to Clients to stating what happened, what is the solution and the fix and to apologize for all of this.

Something better get done soon as in TODAY OR i log my complaint at ICASA against AfriHost.

I am just fedup now on all of this.
