BBM for Android, iPhone arrives

I downloaded it last night, got a whopping two contacts now! I don't know who to add haha.

The app isn't bad! I just wished they didn't use such large icons and buttons! Or give me a choice to adjust them! I'm using a Note 3 and the buttons are HUGE! Screenshot_2013-10-22-12-09-15.jpg

This is on a 5.7 inch screen and look how small the "chat" area is.

But has anyone installed it on multiple devices with the same login details? Will the message be sent to both phones? Will it even allow you to be logged in on multiple devices?

There is in iOS so I'm surprised it's not available on Android.

Even though you hide your status on iOS, it will still show 'online' which lets the other user know that you've opened up your app to read your msg.

What I do is swipe the notification centre downwards to check who msged me, before I open up Whatsapp.

This prevents me going online if I'm avoiding someone.

Yeah that's the thing with iPhone it doesn't report the message delivered until the person open the app even though they may have read the message via notification.

AFAIK it is similar to Whatsapp in that you can only be on one device at a time. But I could be wrong.

Oh, ya, forgot, iOS doesn't have a proper notification system like we do. Soz and all...

Or you can do what I do.

In yoiur WhatsApp settings and enable Popup Notifications when Screen is On". That way when someone sends you a message and you unlock the phone the entire message is there for you to read. Then you can either go to whatsapp to respond...or just ignore it :)

I used to do that, but that started to irritate me. Luckily, I don't have anyone that I'm trying to avoid on Whatsapp.

If I do, I just go to settings and block them. If they phone or SMS me, I just just block them with iOS 7.

Any way to increase the size of the Emoji's? They are tiny on my screen but everything else (buttons, text) are larger.

AFAIK, Its seems BBM Android isnt running on Most Android devices here in RSA, until maybe tomorrow with Africa rolling out on the 23rd.
cause Ive downloaded the apk from Samsung also the one from google docs & XDA which where attached and they all give the same error.

I hope by tomorrow this would be resolved.

What error do they give?

I get no error, they're just not sending me the mail.

So....some of my friends have now welcomed be to the world of BBM. Hahahah. So now they are communicating to me on BBM and not WhatsApp. Alrighty, then. :D

One girl even said that this is cool, now she can get rid of her BlackBerry. I said, you could have gotten rid of it long ago, we have WhatsApp. Then she said that she prefers BBM.

I have to say, I like the D and R notifications.
