everyday as a e-reader, I also use it to surf the sites that are blocked by work proxy.

I do use my tablet daily BUT prefer to use my full blown laptop or desktop PC by far. Tablet navigation is just to slow for me - even with touch screen.

I don't use a tablet at all...my mobile phone does it all. My 7 year old has even "grown out of his tablet"

Yes, I won an iPad pro 2 for good marks at school... But I only use it for entertainment. I would have preferred a windows tablet, I'm still very grateful tho

I had a tablet and sold it because I wasn't using it...
I think it does still have a place in the market, especially for those who travel often, but not for the average person, unless they are using it to keep their children entertained! :)

I have a windows 10 Tablet PC that I use for work and tablet related stuff and a Samsung S4 when a smaller screen is fine. More convergence, less devices to worry about

I used to have a Samsung tablet, which now functions as a digital picture frame. Recently acquired an Air2 iPad, and use it every day. Apps for work like Trello, Google keep, email, Excel, all much better on 10 inch screen than mobile. DSTV Now is great on the tablet too!

I don't use a tablet anymore..

Smartphones and laptops seem to cover all the functionality a tablet can offer.

A 12.5" laptop is more powerful if you have a Core i5 and SSD in it.

Then again, it depends on what your budget is like.

It may be worthwhile buying a tablet for games, movies, and a bit of browsing.

I personally am used to a PC, and would prefer it over a tablet.

Does not make much sense to browse the internet, facebook, quora, etc, on a normal smart phone. Squinting and scrolling :)
Experience is 400% better on a tab with sufficient memory, good graphics. In my case a Samsung 9.7" HD tablet.

Never owned one, don't see how it's worth the money they cost personally. Everything I need I can either do on the phone or on my PC or my laptop. It's a bit of a "nowhere" device in my life. If I get one for free I may make a use for it though - although I'd be more likely to sell it in that scenario, and put the money to better use.

Use my iPad mini every day, for online banking when not at my PC, for reading news, for reading long articles that I've saved via Pocket, for reading Kindle books. Also invaluable for testing when building responsive websites. Do heavy lifting on desktop PC, but for comfortable reading and browsing in an easy chair, can't beat a tablet.

I do.

Use it a lot on the train for typing and saved news articles (easier on the eyes) and I refuse to put a TV in the bedroom, so occasionally we'll watch the end of a movie in bed on the tablet.

I use a tablet daily for reading ebooks, watching instructional videos and a bit of casual gaming.
