Yup. a Stilpane or Tramadol at night most of the time.

Never owned one, don't see how it's worth the money they cost personally. Everything I need I can either do on the phone or on my PC or my laptop. It's a bit of a "nowhere" device in my life. If I get one for free I may make a use for it though - although I'd be more likely to sell it in that scenario, and put the money to better use.

Only the 8inch one is paid for (R89 pm with 1GB data, Telkom). My 2 10inch ones are inherited, or else I'd only have the 8inch one.

I use it all the time for browsing, reading novels, programming, watching anime, etc...

The only problem is my intensive non stop use of the tablet caused battery to swell up cracking the screen. Now I have to search for a new good quality tablet.

Everyday ! It's my go to device app gen browsing or checking things on the net

I use my tablet all the time, mostly for browsing and games when i have time, it is also great for productivity in responding to emails when away from my laptop

Between a laptop and a smartphone, tablets have lost there edge. Our phone's have become all we need on the road and indoors pc's/laptops give us more control, more space and far more convenience in my opinion.

Between my laptop (nice compact one) and my phone, didn't ever feel the need for a tablet. Resisted buying one over the years.
Also have a desktop at home.

Purely to read Kindle & other ebooks

Same - kids took possession of all the decent tablets but left me a Kindle Fire, reading books is about the only thing it's good for, that and watching movies on a plane.

I don't personally have a tablet, but, I think they do have a place in the market. If I could afford it, I'd get myself one. Definitely better doing certain things on a tablet, than on the smaller screened smartphone

I have a laptop and at the moment no smart phone.

I use my tablet when on the move on planes buses and trains. It is simply easier to use in such places than a laptop. I also find the tablet a better option when using location services, GPS etc in a car, simply because of the bigger screen. I am particularly upset because the tablet I have is no longer supported by Vodacom or SS anymore, and neither are prepared to allow the device to be updated to the latest version of Android ( even though I have established it is capable of supporting the latest version of Android). Google Chrome also no longer support updates for the version of Android. The device is thus slowly but surely losing functionality, when technically there is nothing wrong with the tablet!

This another reason why I have this extreme level of disgust and hatred for SamSung!

The tablet that I choose to use is a Nextbook and I deliberately chose it because it is a full Windows PC from which the screen can be detached. I like this solution because I have a copy of the Oxford English Dictionary which will only work in Windows. I also make extensive use of MS Access. With the screen detached, I read newspapers and E books.

Yes. My tablet is my my notebook when in meetings and also my mobile newspaper, my Kindle reader, my Zinio Magazine reader etc. It is an integral part of my information system

Use it all the time. I honestly love it and it should defs have a place in tech market. It makes certain things easier...especially in big companies, many would think you're coming with purpose if you start typing away on the tab ! I don't know...there's something about having one that's needed and all...the screen is the perfect size for long trips to entertain yourself and it gives you, more me, a sense of importance in some sick sense. I love reading on it and just browsing...it is cute and I don't know what I would do without it. My phone serves its purpose but the tab adds a different kind of purpose/importance, I dunno...

It is that miniature laptop that links to something I would like in the future. Plus smartphones are getting bigger in any case, might as well buy a tab ;)

Ye well I talk to much :))

Nope. Gave it to my mum (Nexus 7)

Laptop and phone is good for me!

I've still got my Xperia Tablet Z, sitting in a speaker cradle, main use is movies.
